Masterplan for up-grading of popular seafront promenade, renowned internationally by surfers. Following concept development and extensive consultation with local community, users and stakeholders, proposals were developed to detailed design stage for changed traffic priorities and car parking, improved beach access, provision of new amenity block, surfers facilities and children’s play area, and a palette of surface materials, railings, lighting and street furniture.
